As a producer, you probably don't sleep. So we don't either. Hit us up anytime.
We get it. Insurance is confusing! We're here to make it more clear. To cover our camera package, you'll need the following:
1. Inland Marine Insurance/Equipment Rental Coverage/Floater Policy. Our camera package is valued up to $100,000.00 so you'll also want to check with the head of your G&E department, and others, to get a total combined cost of replaceable gear for the project. This is what your total replaceable amount will be for your Inland Marine Policy if you want everything covered. You can learn more here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPHTzpNo0cs
2. General Liability Policy. A standard $1,000,000.00 with us listed as Additionally Insured. You can learn more here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kn9EgASP7wQ
Certificate Holder Information, the info you'll put on the certifcate to add us to it, will be:

While I cannot physically fill out the forms for you, I can share a company that I enjoy for a variety of reasons: www.AthosInsurance.com:
***We receive NO commission or discount for referring their services. While there are other great options out there, we simply enjoy their product and experience.
For larger jobs, we require some money upfront. It does depend on the project so when you fill out the form above, we'll be able to further discuss payment structure.
If you need to put some money down and something happens to production then:
Having the proper crew to operate the rented equipment is not only important to the quality of what is achievable, but also for safety. Imagine renting a state-of-the-art crane for building a commercial building, but no one knows how to use it. If you are unsure how to operate the gear, we have DPs, operaters or even supervisers to oversee the mechanical operation of production.
Take a look at our DP who uses this package several times a month and would love to speak with you about your project: https://www.bdhyde.com/.
We are here to help your project be the very best in can be so always reach out with questions!
If you don't have insurance, don't want to get insurance or have other limitations with your project that keep you from being able to rent our camera package, don't worry! Our Sponsorship Program has helped various projects secure our camera package through joining forces.
Reach out to team up and make your projec the very best in can be!
Ever wonder why some things are taxed and some things aren't? Well, you're not alone. Rental equipment is one of those things that are taxed, however, there is a super cool way to pay no tax for things like camera rentals, G&E rentals, sound equipment, locations for filming and more.
It's free, super easy to fill out and you can sometimes have your Film in Florida Sales Tax Exemption Tax Exemption Certificate the next day. Simply click on the following link and follow the instructions: https://filminflorida.com/sales-tax-exemption-program/.
Once you receive your certificate, fill in Streetlight Productions LLC as the vendor, sign it, date it and then email it to us so we can remove the sales tax on rental equipment. And don't forget to send it to other vendors so they can remove this cost and put more money back into your budget!
